We Are Americans

As a retired educator with 33 years of High School and College level teaching experience, I have seen clearly the problem we presently have in our educational system. We have left our founder's cultural background, which was based on Judeo-Christian values, and we have accepted instead a multicultural model which says all values are equal and any language is allowed. I want to declare unequivocally that it was not a Mexican  nor an African, nor an Islamic culture, nor any other that made us a great and strong nation. It was an English speaking people with Christian values that made us strong! Because of this, we have enjoyed the God-given blessings of freedom. That freedom led us to open our doors to the oppressed of the world to assimilate with us, but they were to assimilate as Americans with American values not as some counter culture with in our borders. And they were to learn to speak English!

We have left our foundational culture and so we are reaping a harvest of disruption. California has allowed almost 50% of its population, both legal and illegal, to maintain their own culture instead of becoming Americans. As result California is becoming like Mexico, broke and run by gangs. Last year Mexican ethnic students took over one high school even raising the Mexican flag on the school flag pole instead of the American flag.  The school systems are giving in teaching courses in Spanish instead of English. This is just the beginning of the chaos that will come because of these practices.

We have allowed Islamic students to attend our universities, but they are not coming to learn about our culture and enjoy its freedoms - they are coming to convert us to their culture. Europe is presently learning their mistake in allowing these people to enter their countries, as violent marches and threats are becoming the norm in their countries. Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom, the Netherlands and Parliament Member says "I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe."

I recently saw a report that brought this truth home. Islamic students, enjoying American hospitality, would not allow an Israeli Ambassador  to the United States to bring his speech at UW Irvine. The booed and shouted him down until they all had to be escorted from the room by police. If you would like to see this click here. They are not in school to learn any opposing views - they are here to convert to their opinions, regardless how untrue and extreme they are. They are like inviting a 'Trojan Horse' into our country. America, WAKE UP before it is too late!

Again, I do not mind allowing persecuted and oppressed people safe harbor in our country but, they must accept our culture and speak our language and abide by or rules and laws. Otherwise, they should be given a one-way ticket home!
