Peace with Islam ?

The West, especially the United States, is asleep to danger we are facing. Some may define it as a culture war, and that would be somewhat true. However, I believe it is more accurate to call it a religious war. The Muslim idea of peace is to have victory, dominating every other culture.

The pictures to the left were taken recently in the London Religion of Peace March. A simple look at their signs should alert anyone to their idea of peace. Ask any westerner who has worked in Saudi Arabia how much religious freedom there is there. Or ask Christians in Indonesia how much freedom they have to practice their faith, where three young Christian schoolgirls were recently beheaded by Muslims because of their faith. Ask Christian Arabs, (read Brigitte Gabriel's account), who have experienced the Islamic idea of peace.

According to their own statistics, Muslims are taking over the world:

Among every four humans in the world, one of them is Muslim. Muslims have increased by over 235 percent in the last fifty years up to nearly 1.6 billion. By comparison, Christians have increased by only 47 percent, Hinduism, 117 percent, and Buddhism by 63 percent. Islam is the second largest religious group in France, Great Britain and USA (Muslims in USA are 10 millions and Jews are 6 millions).

They say they have grown in Europe by 147% while the Europeans have a negative birthrate due to abortion, etc. They claim to have a growth rate in Australia of 257%. It is estimated that in 10 years France will be a Muslim majority. When that happens, laws and culture will change. Christians and Jews will think Hitler is back.

Can President Bush's plan to introduce freedom to the Middle East change the heart of this trend? I think not. When I hear Islamic nations repudiate their hatred of Israel and recognize them as a nation. I will reconsider. When I see Islamic nations give freedom to non-Islamic religions to practice their faith, I will reconsider, but not before.
