Government Welfare Robs Me of the Blessing of being Charitable!

As a Christian Pastor, I believe in helping people who are having problems and this includes medical problems. In the past I have given to do just that. However, I resent big government taking from me the right and freedom to do this act of charity. How do they do this? They tax me and then they decide how the taxes will be given out, directed mostly by the greed of growing their political base! They not only steal my money but, they are also stealing the blessing I would have had by giving of my own free will. This is not charity, it is thievery! Its name is Welfare. Even worse, a life of welfare tends to enslave those who receive it.

I'm afraid that our American medical system is becoming the latest casualty to the philosophy of welfare. Acknowledged medical problems will not be solved by more welfare. President Obama and the Democrats who control Congress could easily do something that would have immediate results as far as healing our so-called medical crisis. HALF of all immigrant families are using welfare, especially food and Medicaid welfare! This includes illegal AND legal immigrants. This is saying nothing about the free medical care they often use by going in to hospital Emergency Centers causing the medical care system great expense, which they have to pass on to the rest of us.

Un-talked about Medical Scandal

Half of all immigrant households with children are on welfare. HALF! These are supposed to be people doing "jobs Americans won't do." Sounds more like they're collecting government benefits U.S. citizens can't get!

President Obama, Senate Leader Reid, and Speaker Pelosi, we call on you to SUSPEND all future non-essential immigration.

The federal budget deficit$1.4 Trillion and risingcan't afford to pay out Medicaid and food stamp benefits to more poor immigrants that America obviously does not need.

And yet, all of you are calling for INCREASED immigration and even an AMNESTY for illegal aliens! Your judgment is badly flawed! Higher immigration and amnesty will cause taxes and deficits to rise.

It's time for you to admit that your ideas about immigration are out-of-date and destructive. Suspend non-essential immigration now!

I want to remind you all that this is not Biblical charity. This is big government thievery taking our money and giving to someone else! True charity is freely given from one individual to another individual.

If President Obama and the Democrats are really interested in solving the health care crisis, their words not mine, they would tackle issues like this. Until they do, I for one will believe this issue is for them just an excuse to grab more control and power over our lives.
