| The Bible is about 1/3 prophesy, many of which have been fulfilled. They happened just as the prophets predicted. Since the prophets did not speak on their own, but were moved by the Holy Spirit, there is no reason to not expect the rest will come true as well. "And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shinning in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." 2 Peter 1:19 Since the prophets spoke as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit, we need the Holy Spirit's help in understanding them. We should always approach them with prayer, endeavoring to accept them as literal unless Scripture clearly indicates they are symbolic. For example, for many years, people tried to interpret Ezekiel's prophesy of 'dry bones' symbolically, because the nation of Israel no longer existed. Now we know that God meant exactly what He said and He brought back Israel to their land. |
"And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." - Isaiah 11:1 |
What is the End-Time sequence of events foretold and where are we now? Jesus brought teachings on the end-time that are a sweeping outline of all that is to happen. What Scripture says about the re-establishment of Israel as a nation, and the event surrounding it. What is the difference between the spirit of antichrist and the Antichrist? What does Scripture say about him, what he does and when he appears? The great end-time battle described by Ezekiel against Israel. Many believe we are very close to this war beginning. Jesus' Letters to the 7 Churches Jesus dictated letters to 7 churches in the Book of Revelation. Many believe they are representative of churches today. |
