Text Box:   An Open Letter to America    Why do you inaugurate a new President having him swear on the Holy Bible as though he will abide the teachings of that Bible? Why do you elect as your leaders men and women who will not honor Jesus Christ as their leader, and then expect the standards Jesus taught to be their guiding principals? America, you are double-minded in all your ways giving lip-service to the God of the Bible but denying his laws in your public life.   You put homosexual perverts in charge of your financial oversight committees and then expect God to bless your finances. You put tax-cheats in charge of your IRS then expect fairness in your tax payers.   You outlaw prayer from your schools and the Lord’s 10 Commandments from public life expecting your children to grow up respecting authority and the rule of law without them. But, when the foundations are destroyed, the house will not stand against the storms of life.   As a nation, you honor those nations who despise the God of the Bible and then expect His blessings on your endeavors. India, China, Pakistan, and Turkey, as well as many others persecute and kill believers in Jesus and yet you reward them with trade and access to your country as though they are honorable people. You are casting your pearls before swine because you do not know the source of your blessings. You illustrate the saying, “A nation that will stand for nothing will fall for anything.” You were a beacon of light and hope to a dark world, but your light has gone out. You were salt to preserve, but you have lost your saltiness.   America, your houses of worship claim to honor me, but they do not teach God’s truth, nor do they hold their members to His standards. Instead, they have substituted their own standards to enhance their own wealth.   America, you have forsaken your own heritage, which is the God of the Bible and you have robbed God of His heritage, which is the children He has given you. You have killed millions of children by abortion and you have tried to deny the rest the knowledge of God that is their only hope.   February, 2009
